The problem
The owner produced every quote and invoice himself, and his pricing is specific to scaffolding, worked out his way over years.
Off-the-shelf software prices things the way the software thinks, not the way he does.
What we built
- A private web app, behind a login, that prices jobs from his own rate card, the way he already prices.
- Quotes, invoices and monthly statements as PDFs on his letterhead, ready to email.
- Fixed-price jobs, split invoicing that can never exceed the quote, monthly equipment rentals and safety-check invoices.
- Next: document stages (sent, accepted, paid, overdue), a home screen of today’s work, and checks before anything is finalised.
