Classic Timber Fences · Fencing
A rebuilt website and a one-question-at-a-time quote form for a Christchurch fencing contractor, built to take people straight from a Facebook ad to a quote request.

The problem
The business wanted quote requests it could act on, coming straight from its own Facebook ads, with the details needed to price the job.
A quote form that asks everyone everything loses people. A repair job does not need a fence length, and a gate on its own does not need the ground conditions.
What we built
- A quote form at /get-a-quote: one question per card, tap to move on, contact details last. It skips questions that do not apply to the job.
- The fine print that matters on the last card: the Privacy Act 2020, the Fair Trading Act and the Fencing Act 1978.
- Every "Request a quote" button across the site now leads to it.
- Quotes are saved first, then emailed through authenticated mail, so none can quietly go missing.
- Each quote request counted as a lead in analytics.
- A rebuilt website with a real page for every service, gallery cards from the owners’ own photos, and new pages for aluminium fencing, gates and fencing law.
The result
11
pages, each served to Google as real HTML with its own title and heading
Pass
SPF, DKIM and DMARC on every quote email, all aligned
The quote form went live on 13 September 2026. Test quotes on the live site were saved and delivered, and the branching was walked through on the live page.
The number of real quote requests since launch is not in yet.
